Like I said, I'm not hugely into blogs. Completely contradictory to this is the fact that I've chosen another blog as part of my aesthetic catalog.
My own personal style of dress, though it may not be original, is something very important to me. I spend a lot of time thinking about what I'm going to wear and how I want to look. My favorite place to get ideas from is this blog. I like his style, and he's also asian, which is cool. A personal style is something that makes me more confident in myself, regardless of the opinions of anyone else. I'm not going to say that it "expresses my personality" or anything, because though I'm sure this is an excellent way to tell people who you are, that isn't why I dress in any certain way. I do because I like how I look.

Running is a big part of my life as well. Look at those spikes. They are neon green and gold, designed mostly for hurdling. The reason I use these to represent this part of my life has multiple layers. First, my main events are the hurdle races, so hurdle spikes are the obvious choice. Next, the gold. To me, it means first place. Of course that is what I want to achieve, and even if I dont get first, the spikes still look cool. Finally, the neon green, a very showy color in tandem with the gold. I like them to be showy because track is one of the few places I can show off. Even though I'm nowhere near the best, not even on the team, I can safely say that I am one of the top runners on our team. They attract attention, which in this case, I really enjoy. There are not so many places that im comfortable showing off, but track is one of them.
